We wanted to celebrate Thailand’s New Year Festival ’Songkran’!  This festival welcomes the arrival of the new year by celebrating with lots of water.

 

It is believed that this will bring longevity, good health and prosperity. Having close links to Thailand, and having a fitness holiday there soon we wanted to have our own festival here on Lamma Island. We had some super fun workouts, lots of colourful clothing, Thai cuisine and a lot of laughter!
